Boval Company has recently introduced two new grades of BSA to its list of numerous products to meet your needs in microbiological growth requirements.

IM-0010 is a high-purity BSA developed specifically for microbial culture growth promotion where consistency and reliability are critical. This microbiological grade powder is produced by extensive processing designed to yield a very pure, very defined, and economical product, unlike other product schemes that leave undefined contaminants in the BSA sometimes called trace growth factors. IM-0010 has been shown to encourage and support productive growth of fastidious organisms such as Borrelia bergdorferi and Leptospira interrogans, so you will be sure of the products consistency before it arrives.

IM-0020 is a modified BSA developed specifically for microbial culture growth promotion for difficult strains. IM-0020 is the result of scientific understanding and product craftsmanship for enhanced growth promotion in a chemically-defined manner. IM-0020 is produced by extensive processing of a very pure BSA modified with a balanced lipid blend in ratios determined to encourage productive growth of fastidious organisms.

As with all of our existing products, IM-0010 and IM-0020 are both formulated in large homogenous lots using a very controlled process in our USDA registered facility from wholesome serum collected in the United States that is free of any specified risk materials.
