PRESS RELEASE - July 5, 2011
JULY 5, 2011 -- Boval Company, LP, is pleased to announce the launch of a new line of human serum albumin (HSA) products for cell culture and diagnostic applications. Boval has developed this line of HSA products specifically for cell culture growth promotion where consistency and reliability are critical. These products are built from our knowledge of albumin in media applications and are the result of scientific understanding within our laboratory and product craftsmanship for enhanced growth promotion in a chemically-defined manner. Unlike other products that contain trace elements, these cell culture grade products are produced by extensive processing of very pure and controlled HSA and modified with a lipid content in ratios determined to encourage productive growth of sensitive cells. These new HSA products are manufactured in homogenous lots under current Good Manufacturing Practices with complete traceability of raw materials and finished product. These new products can be purchased either as a formulated highly purified fatty acid free product or with an optimum lipid balance for growth promotion. Several lots are currently available for sampling. Additional information on these new products can be found in the Technical Data Sheets. For sample request or questions about HSA products, please contact us at 800-635-1706 or boval@bovalco.com.
