Description
LY-0080 is a highly purified “Fraction V” Bovine Serum Albumin
(BSA). The lyophilized powder is
initially fractionated through a modified heat-shock procedure and further
purified by isolation from other plasma proteins, lipids, and extraneous ions
by extensive diafiltration and ion-exchange steps. LY-0080 is a work-horse protein that has
typical applications in serum media, bacterial culture work and as a stabilizer
for EIA and RIA enzymatic systems that require high purity.
