Description

LY-0083 is a highly purified “Fraction V” Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) with low electrolyte levels. The lyophilized powder is initially fractionated through a modified heat-shock procedure and further purified by isolation from other plasma proteins, lipids, and extraneous ions by extensive diafiltration and ion-exchange steps. LY-0083 is a model protein that has typical applications in serum media, bacterial culture work and as a stabilizer for EIA and RIA enzymatic systems that require high purity and a low electrolyte levels.
